Up with justice, down with hunger!

Journeys to end hunger

Hunger can be ended and we know the solutions: Invest in the smallholder farmers, especially women. Provide land rights and make food a right for everyone. Simple solutions that only need courage and action.

More than 200 Activista’s will be mobilising up to 100.000 youth and farmers across the globe in the Journeys to end hunger. We will be travelling our countries reaching out to the public, collecting solutions to end hunger by the people affected and demanding that our leaders take action now.

The journeys will culminate at the UN summit on the Millennium Development Goals in New York September 20-22nd. Here, Activista’s will be representing the voices from the journeys.

Follow the journeys on blogs, videos and pictures here at MyActivista and sign up to join the movement!

lets just push further, because we have already been recognised as activists...so solutions to some social problems will be pretty easy to get from national bureaucrats....

This sounds great " Boda bodas 4 justice" This has been a very effective tool for social mobilization on social change issues in rural kenya. Good idea Cyprian.

It sounds great that you have an idea for a campaign! Boda bodas 4 justice - an interesting concept! You should get into contact with Activista Kenya, who are quite active! You can read a bit about them here: http://www.myactivista.org/group/activistakenya
The coordinator is Melvin Chibole who you can also reach through that group.

the case in kenya is worsenning , there is imbalance of food stuff where some places have plenty others totaly do not have.
We need to join hands and do away with this scenario. Food for all will carry our day . I need to do a campaign in Kenya on food resources to see what it will yield . need your hand in that . Want to use the Boda Boda to end hunger .
