Hello Activista

How are you good people doing out there, it’s been long, hope you are just busy making the world a better place for all of us to live in.
I just want to let you know that the momentum is picking up and we need your contribution now than ever, the numbers of the hungry are swelling and our governments seems not to be caring about this situation at all.
If you have been following the news in Kenya recently you would have realized that the leading dairy processor in Kenya poured away thousands of liters of milk while there are so many poor Kenyans who have not tasted milk in the last I don't know how many months, and if that was not enough, right now there are thousands of metric tons of maize rotting in the farms simply because the roads are impassable and the government are claiming that they have filled the national cereals stores, while at the same time millions of Kenyans do not have adequate food, it is sad indeed!!!!
Have you also had that South Africa have acquired a permit to export 40,000 metric tons of GM maize to Kenya?????????????? do you know what this means, it means that the rich and the famous are willing to import GM into the Kenyan consumer market without any approved bio-safety legislation in place, I know the bill was passed sometimes last year but it has not been officially gazetted and therefore we still don't have legislation governing this kind of a transaction, this will kill the efforts of our local farmers, instead of them getting paid well for their produce, their hard work is left to rot in the farms and soon you will hear of another GM maize scandal,
What do you know about this subject, kindly share it with us, if you need any information regarding the GM maize expected to be imported from SA, please get in touch with me and I will fill you in, I have the whole info.
Keep it blazing
